Modernity has shown its strength on its effort to challenge the traditional fundamental principles of life that existed since long time ago. This has not only brought positive results to its believers, but also it has left many with their mouths uncovered. It has tried to challenge even the unchallengeable, and tried to show that it is possible to believe in what we should not. And since, our minds have so long been weakened by technology that we ourselves invented, we have found ourselves falling into the trap of completely doubting even the nobliest ethical values of our being.
The family being one of them, that human have fallen into a trap of believing, that it is not necessary for a man and woman, come together and form a single family, raising it, bearings kids and offer support to one another. It is in our world today, that a woman is willing just, to search for man, just have a single day affair with him, conceive and remain single as single mother. And this has become a fashion and many are falling into this trap. Men and women are no longer, seeking for communal affection, that which brought humanity where we are now. That men of this generation, work day and night to find reasons to support evil. And so many movements have arisen from that sense of ignorance believing to be in a right track.
It is a high time, that humanity has to settle down, and rethink of where we came from, where we are and where we are going. The loss of ethics in human life is the loss of humanity, and thus it is possible just to say that we are lost. And since we are lost, we must find solution to trace our way back. Family is the foundation of a living society, and therefore, the weakened family equals the weakened society. We must work hard, to understand the connotation behind this statement. We must learn, to value what gave us value, we must learn to appreciate that which appreciated us, and it is family. Everything revolving around the society has its origin from the family and thus the need to jump and embark on the journey of taking back to the source that which was initially appreciated there.
So as members, of "Msingi wa Familia Bora Chachu ya Amani kwa Ulimwengu" the aim is to come together, learn where we have missed, build arguments and support one another to bring positive change for our today's and tomorrow's society. Governed by strong African quotation, "I am because we are" we can together, "We are because our families are". May you stand firm in building the better tomorrow, that which challenges you, is in place to make you strong, do not allow yourselves be taken by it. We like the river, but we don't allow ourselves be moved by it, cause we shall die if we do so."
