While celebrating our Labor Day event at Loch Erin this year, in light of continuing the celebrating the 250th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, we decided to focus on our Veteran Members this year. We began with a beautiful tribute to all of our Veterans and their families. We ended with an incredible local band, "The Complete Unknowns" that played their hearts out, into the night. Thank you to all that attended, the many volunteers from the Friends of Loch Erin, that made this event possible and who work all year long to plan these events, and most importantly, we thank all of our Veterans for their dedicated service.

Damon Gutierrez spent thirteen years with the Plumbers Union in Ann Arbor before finally going out on his own.
