Meet Omar Espinoza, Maintenance Team Member at River Reach in Naples, FL! ✨

Omar has repeatedly lead by example and shown exactly what it means to live by "Improving Communities, Improving Lives." He consistently goes above and beyond in his job, but he chooses to take his efforts a step further and has been known to work to bettering others lives and experience in the community during times when he is not working as well.

"My wife and I have lived here for 4 years. The staff is unbelievable!! They will go out of their way to make sure any issues you have are taken care of. If you need maintenance done, their maintenance staff is first class as well. We had to have a new stove put in and within two hours they had switched stoves out and made sure there was no mess in entrance of our apartment. The manager Nicole and her staff will go out of their way to help you in anyway. Nicole and her staff will randomly check on you just to say hey and see if you need something. Best place in Bluffton to live. The amenities are 1st class. We have a beautiful dog park, awesome tennis and pickleball courts. 1st class gym and grills at pool are my favorite!!!" - Lee P. via Google

At Aspen Square, we work towards leaving our mark—Improving Communities, Improving Lives. Last month, several members of our operations and management team for Indigo Isles and Lakewood Village in Jacksonville, FL had the privilege of volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House in Jacksonville! According to the team, it's an experience that will stay with them for a long time! ✨

"We spent the afternoon making crafts, building castles, getting to know the incredible children and their families, having a dance party with the girls, playing video games with the boys, laughing together, and sharing countless smiles. While these moments may have seemed simple, they meant so much.

Every day, these children and their families face challenges that most of us can't imagine as they receive treatment at our local medical centers. If we were able to brighten their day, create a few happy memories, and give parents even a brief opportunity to breathe and smile alongside their children, then every minute we spent there was worthwhile.

Giving back to our community has always been important to us, but this was one of the most heartfelt and impactful volunteer experiences I've had the privilege of sharing with my team. I couldn't be prouder of the compassion, kindness, and genuine care they showed throughout the day.

A huge thank you to the staff and families at the Ronald McDonald House for welcoming us. We left with full hearts and a renewed appreciation for the strength, resilience, and joy these families demonstrate every single day."

"I rarely leave comments on Google. However, Ridgemar Commons is an exception. I chose to stay here because my friend lived in this complex for 2 years like 10 years ago and she strongly recommended here. Surprisingly, I literally happened to pick the SAME unit that my friend lived among 5 options provided by leasing office. I lived here for 3 years and just moved out last week because I want to live with friends instead of living alone. However, I already start questioning myself if I made a smart decision, like why I didn't move to a bigger unit within the same complex with my friend? I didn't have a pleasant move-in experience in the new place. During my stay, I loved walk around the complex in the morning and evening and went to gym (sometimes). Most important, I want to shout out for our maintenance team! They are AMAZING! I would give 10 out of 10 for them! They are not only responsive but also making my life so much easier! Whenever I submitted a request, they would show up within 24 hours, mostly within a couple of hours during working hours. Beyond that, they are really trying to address my concern. For example, once I complained about small water stream, they came and replaced the faucet next day. We are proud to recognize an exceptional leader whose hard work, heart, and commitment have not gone unnoticed. From the very beginning, Taylor has embodied what it means to have a "whatever it takes" attitude. She consistently steps up, embraces challenges with confidence, and leads with integrity, compassion, and purpose. Her unwavering dedication to her team, her residents, and Aspen have made a meaningful difference. For these reasons and the outstanding work she has accomplished at Promenade at Grand she was recently offered the opportunity to transfer to Riverwood.

Please join us in congratulating Aaliyah Woods on her recent promotion to Property Manager at 100 South in McDonough, Georgia! 🎉

Aaliyah joined the Aspen team in 2022 at 100 South in McDonough, Georgia, bringing with her a background in retail and an eagerness to build a career in leasing and property management. Although she was a bit shy at first, she quickly found her place and grew into a confident, outgoing, and highly successful leasing professional who consistently exceeded her goals with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

In 2024, Aaliyah was promoted to Assistant Manager, where she continued to excel in leasing while taking the lead on collections, social media, and marketing initiatives. She has embraced every opportunity to grow, consistently demonstrating leadership, accountability, and a commitment to both her team, the community, and sister communities as well.

Aaliyah is a true team player who continually motivates those around her to succeed. Her bright, positive, and witty personality allows her to build genuine connections with both prospective and current residents. Many residents have shared that her exceptional hospitality and customer service played a significant role in their decision to lease and renew their lease!
