Big news to share 📣

Over the course of this week, I’ve transferred my real estate license and will be transitioning brokerages—from Keller Williams to Redfin. I’ll be starting with Redfin’s Albuquerque team at the beginning of next month.

Redfin’s technology-driven approach and collaborative team environment align well with how I work with clients. I’m looking forward to contributing my experience toward a smooth, transparent, and well-informed buying and selling experience for those navigating the Albuquerque market.

📉 Mortgage rates just hit their lowest level in over a year!

At the start of 2025, rates were above 7%. Now they’ve dipped to 6.19% — and that shift is keeping the market active. Lower rates can open doors for buyers who’ve been waiting for the right time to make a move.

The average rate on 30-year fixed home loans declined to 6.19% for the week ending Oct. 23, down from 6.27% the week before, according to Freddie Mac.

"Mortgage rates continued to trend down this week, hitting their lowest level in over a year," says Sam Khater, Freddie Mac's chief economist. "At the start of 2025, the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage surpassed 7%, while today it hovers nearly a full percentage point lower. This dynamic has kept refinancings high, accounting for more than half of all mortgage activity for the sixth consecutive week."
