Most people have never seen a concrete slab lifted like this.
This is a slab jack—a specialized tool that mechanically lifts heavy, sunken concrete back into place.
On this project in Pleasant Grove, the front steps had settled away from the house, leaving a void underneath. Because the edge was open, foam alone couldn’t provide enough lift. So we anchored the slab jack directly to the concrete, carefully raised the steps back to level, then filled the void beneath with polyurethane foam for added support.
No tear-out. No re-pour. Just the original concrete restored.
