Dear Amsterdam Community,
My name is Jeff Knite and I am the writer, director, and producer of the film KRAZY KLOWNY. A film we shot primarily in Amsterdam, my current hometown. This project has already brought together many local people, creating opportunities, connections, and excitement. We believe this is only the beginning. Our goal is bigger than one film. We want to help make Amsterdam a true film production capital of New York State. We want to continue bringing productions here, showcasing local talent, supporting small businesses, and creating jobs and opportunities for the community.
That is why I am proud to announce that we are now accepting new investors from the Amsterdam area to join our Dark Knites entertainment film team. The film business is growing tremendously, especially theatrical, which is making a strong comeback. Three independent films this year (IRON LUNG, UNDERTONE, OBSESSION) have already made a staggering amount of money on small budgets because of smart grassroots distribution, and we are in direct contact with these distributors, including Markiplier.
