There’s something satisfying about seeing the BEFORE vs AFTER on this one. This project was more than just another flip for me. It was hands-on education. I did a little more of the work on this one compared to some of my previous projects. I wanted to understand the process from start to finish: the sequencing, the scope, the budgeting, and all the small details that go into the project. While I’m happy with the profit, the goal wasn’t just that. The biggest win was the learning curve. Every mistake, adjustment, inefficiency, and problem solved gave me a better understanding of what goes into a renovation. This project taught me to budget projects more accurately, communicate more effectively with contractors, and understand the work at a deeper level. The goal wasn’t financial but rather experience and knowledge gained along the way. Sound on for Rangers singing 🙂

My first BRRRR. Well sort of. Started as a BRRRR, switched to a flip, became a BRRRR again. Lots of lessons learned on this project and there were several unexpected issues that popped up. Happy I was still able to turn this into a rental and hold onto it. Onto the next!
