This dogwood try started dying two weeks ago and my Japanese maple is completely dead this year and was healthy last year. Anyone else having tree issues like this? I see these fungus spots on both trees

This is from a flipped house in Riva, Maryland, that I was really impressed when I walked in immediately saw hardwood floors. This really happens anymore. Everyone uses vinyl which I’m not a big fan of. I’m surprised, though, that they didn’t do a better job playing the floor this is a very rookie mistake so the builder the flipper needs to find someone who actually knows how to lay down flooring overall, this house was really nice. It’s in Riva, Maryland, which is a great area.

Virginia is embracing a quieter, more connected vision for senior living — and people across the Old Dominion are paying attention. 🏡🌄❤️
Across Virginia, tiny home villages designed for seniors are gaining support as a creative solution to rising housing costs, loneliness, and the growing need for affordable independent living.
One Virginia woman reportedly invested much of her personal savings to help create a peaceful cottage-style community where older women can live independently while still surrounded by friendship, safety, and support. 🇺🇸
Instead of massive retirement complexes, these small neighborhoods focus on simple living: 🌻 Shared gardens
☕ Front porch conversations
🚶 Walking paths beneath the Blue Ridge skies
🔥 Community gathering spaces where neighbors actually know each other
Supporters say the idea is about far more than saving money.
It’s about dignity.
It’s about independence.
It’s about growing older without feeling isolated or forgotten.
Residents say the villages offer the perfect balance — private homes with a built-in sense of community that many seniors feel is missing in modern life.
One supporter said: “People still want their own space as they age — but they also want someone nearby who cares.”
Now, more Americans are looking toward Virginia as tiny home communities continue gaining momentum as a possible future for affordable, community-focused senior living across the country. 🌅🏡
