As a Realtor, sometimes we are one of the first people to learn about pregnancies and engagements and for these two I had front-row seats.

A few weeks ago, soon-to-be Mrs had no idea that soon-to-be Husband called me to let me know they wouldn't be able to look at properties on a specific weekend because he was planning to propose. She had no idea!

Mortgage rates are almost certain to rise to 6% or above as the Fed responds to rising inflation and the equity and crypto markets reel from massive sell-offs and declines to levels not seen since February 2021, about a year after the Covid pandemic exploded globally. The FED is likely to accelerate rates by 75 basis points tomorrow. Economic contraction - or at a minimum growth reduction - is almost a certainty. Former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers said an economic recession within the next two years is now “more likely than not.” (CNBC)
