I'll advise, educate, and guide you, representing your best interests throughout your real estate journey, ensuring confident, intelligent decisions and long-term satisfaction with your sale or purchase. My mission is to smoothly guide you through your real estate journey, ensuring you are confident that you have made informed and intelligent decisions, and are pleased with the outcome of your rea
l estate transaction for years to come. Many of my clients are relocating to the area or seeking vacation home and are unfamiliar with the many smaller communities that make up the broader metropolitan area. Having moved to the area in 2008, without knowing anyone besides my family, I understands the concerns and confusion out-of-area buyers may face in both hot and cold markets. I deliver unparalleled personal service, offering candid advice, extensive market knowledge, and meticulous attention to the details and issues that emerge during a sale or purchase. I works in your best interest, employing exceptional listening skills, market analysis, and proactive problem-solving. KaMy goal is to “negotiates to yes” and win- win solutions by leveraging information, anticipating responses, suggesting creative terms, adapting to the other agent's preferred work style, and remaining composed. The keys to my success are a strong work ethic, systematic processes, clear communication, and willingness to embrace new technologies and best practices as they emerge over time. Since 2012, I have sold over $82,000,000 in real estate properties and helped over 175 families realize their dreams. My passion for this business, and the very real desire to help my clients make their next move, launched me into the ranks of Asheville's top-producing real estate agents by 2015. My business is now based on more than 90% repeat business or referrals from satisfied clients. The Asheville area is our home, and I couldn't be happier, but it took a few stops to finally get here. I was born in Canton, Ohio -- and attended high school in Culver, Indiana. From there I turned south, attending Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. After graduating, I headed north to New York City, climbing the corporate ladders at a number of money center banks, and eventually running a private banking group at J. Then love struck, and I was soon married, with a son, 2 dogs and 2 cats, and living on the outskirts of Malibu, CA. With a family claiming the bulk of my time, I became a successful real estate investor -- buying, remodeling, landscaping and selling houses for about 5 years. While there was much to love about Southern California, my husband and I and I eventually decided it was time to move a little closer to our family and our roots. We became great students of those "Places Rated" places, and we are thrilled with where we settled down. Mountains, hiking trails, great weather, fabulous restaurants, golf around every corner, skiing a short drive away and great friends who share a common belief: Living the Good Life “ whatever that means to you “ begins by choosing where you want to live, not where you have to. I knew I wanted to be a full-time real estate agent eventually, but chose to first learn the ropes of the mortgage business, spending approximately two years as a licensed mortgage broker. This experience has been invaluable, allowing me to provide necessary insight and advice to both my buyers and sellers. It also helped me to identify and work for what I believe is the best real estate company in Western North Carolina. In 2011, I moved on to what has always fascinated me: Buying and selling residential real estate. I now live and breathe the business, making it a point to work with only the very best. This standard applies to my company, my clients, my listings and my resources. Those resources include attorneys, inspectors, mortgage consultants, architects, contractors, painters, landscapers, etc. If I'm not with one of my clients, I'm learning what I can about the local market, previewing houses and keeping up with the latest trends and developments in our industry. Having said all that, I still make time for hiking with my family -- have you been to Bent Creek? -- or dining out at one of the many excellent restaurants that keep cropping up in our wonderful, food-crazy town. I hope you'll enjoy living here as much as I do.
