Times are tough for people looking to buy their first home. That being said, I don't have a ton of sympathy for able-bodied young people within my generation that use this as all-encompassing excuse to keep throwing money down the drain each month by renting.
This is one of the times in life where we need to adapt and overcome. First time home buyers that can't find anything within their price range need to consider buying a fixer-upper. This is what many of our parents did. Starting with humble beginnings is the route to building equity in what is (for most people) our largest investment or expenditure in life - one's dwelling space.
I recently sold my second fixer-upper that I owned, lived in, and rented out for three years and more than doubled my money. It was hard work and I learned a lot. Having done the math, for every day I worked on it I pocketed about $300.
If you dont know how to find deals on off-market properties that may need some work, give me a call @ 706-431-3295. I will help you do the hard work that most Realtors will not take on and/or dont know how to do themselves with service before, during, and after the sale. My mission is to turn tenants into owners, and owners into investors.
Give me a call and let's talk about how I can best serve you. 🇺🇸
