We looked at 279 homes for sale and picked our Deal of the Week based on saves for its age group. This home earned 36 saves and 256 views on Zillow. The homes we checked averaged 10 saves. That puts this one at 250% above that average. That kind of attention is worth paying attention to.

One number tells the story in Cobb County right now. Inventory rose 7.4% while sales rose 1.2%, according to the Real Estate Data Aggregator.

That gives buyers more choice, and it means sellers have more competition than they did a year ago. The Real Estate Data Aggregator also counted 4,182 new listings county-wide in the three months ending July 31, 2026. Buyers are still active though. Pending sales rose to 2,945.

So this is not a stalled market. It is a more selective one. Pricing and prep matter more.

One part of Cobb County stood apart this summer: ZIP 30062.

For the three months ending July 31, 2026, it had just 2.8 months of supply, the lowest in the county, according to the Real Estate Data Aggregator. It also had 35.3% of homes go under contract within two weeks, tied for the fastest pace in Cobb County. At the same time, the median sale price dipped 3.5%. Tight does not mean every price works.

If you live in 30062, this is a good reminder to look at your street, not just the ZIP code. If you are buying there, it helps to be ready when the right home shows up.
