Hello, October. We’ve been waiting for you. 🤎

There’s something about fall in Highlands that makes you want to slow down.

The mornings get crisp. The mountains start putting on a show. The air feels a little cooler, the days feel a little cozier, and suddenly a walk through town or an afternoon on a mountain trail feels like exactly where you’re supposed to be.

And October brings plenty to do around town from live music and local events to art, outdoor adventures, shopping and, of course, enjoying the changing mountain scenery. 🍁

At 4,118 feet, Highlands experiences the seasons a little differently , and that’s part of what makes a fall getaway here so special.
