Here’s what February looked like across Cherokee County.

212 homes sold, with 948 currently active — putting us at about 4 months of inventory. Homes are averaging 44 days to sell and closing around 98% of asking price.

In plain terms:

• Sellers: well-priced homes are still moving with strong results.
• Buyers: negotiation exists, but good homes stay competitive.
• Investors: steady demand supports long-term value in strong areas.

This isn’t an overheated market but it’s not slow either. It’s steady and competitive.

The City of Woodstock will be extending paving hours on Neese Road from 9 AM to 4 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week. This helps contractors take advantage of warm, dry weather and complete this phase of the project efficiently.

We will continue coordinating with Cherokee County Schools to best accommodate school bus traffic. These extended hours are necessary to avoid gaps, seams, and joints in the pavement and to ensure a smoother, longer‑lasting roadway. By continuing work beyond our typical schedule, crews can complete sections properly and maintain the highest quality standards.

Paving is expected to wrap up this week, with final striping scheduled for next week. We know construction can be inconvenient, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding. We also know everyone is looking forward to seeing this segment of Neese Road finished and we are so close! Thank you for hanging in there with us as we wrap up this phase.
