This one is near and dear to my heart for many reasons but I’ll share a little backstory.

As a Realtor, one of the most satisfying aspects of my job is helping my clients find the perfect home. Sometimes, that means searching for a specific type of home that is difficult to come by, like a ranch-style home with a full basement.

When my clients first reached out to me to help them find their forever home, I was excited. Of course, I knew it would take a lot of effort and dedication to find exactly what they were looking for and I was excited to guide them through the process. Finding a property that was all on one level and had no steps turned out to be a bit more challenging than I initially anticipated. I tapped into my network and resources to find ranch-style homes that were not on the market. I received several leads but none that met my client's specific needs. We had a tough time in our search because the majority of homes we looked at only had the owner's suite on the main level. We were determined to find a home that met their specific requirements - a single-level, step-less home with all the bedrooms on one level and a full basement.

When I tell you my clients were on it, they were actively looking and did not deviate from the plan. They finally found the perfect home and texted me the details. I immediately contacted the listing agent and scheduled a tour of the property. We didn’t have any time to waste! We toured the property and my clients instantly fell in love. They had finally found the perfect home! I submitted the offer, and p**f, the listing was WITHDRAWN! There's more to this part of the story but I'm just going to say I had to go into my prayer closet before I could even ensure my clients that everything was going to work out in their favor.

We continued the home search but none of the other homes had that WOW factor that the first home offered. My clients had their eye on the prize and texted me with urgency, “Kisha, it's back on the market!” Ok friend, let me make a call, NOW! Sure enough, their dream home was back on the market, and another offer was submitted by the time I had gotten off the phone with the new listing agent. I was on a mission to make sure my clients got the keys to their forever home! I received a call the next morning with the news that my client's offer had been accepted! One thing I know for sure is what God has for You is for You! I am truly grateful to my clients, friends, Nina and Deryl for entrusting me with the task of guiding them through the process of purchasing their forever home. It was an honor to assist them in finding a property that met all of their needs and desires.

Let’s take a look at February Market Updates!

✨Powder Springs, Douglasville, and Hiram are all located in the state of Georgia and are part of the greater Atlanta metropolitan area. The real estate markets in these areas have been experiencing significant growth in recent years, driven by factors such as a strong job market and population growth.

Powder Springs offers a mix of older homes and new construction, and there are plenty of amenities such as parks, shops, and restaurants.

Douglasville offers a mix of suburban and rural areas, with many properties offering large yards and spacious homes.

Hiram has a more affordable median home price making it an attractive option for buyers on a budget. The market is also growing, and there are many new construction developments popping up in the area.
