Last Friday, Horizon Property Group had the privilege of speaking with 7th grade students at Woodland Middle School.

During our time together, we learned about the students’ aspirations, created a safe and encouraging environment for them to openly share their goals, and introduced commercial real estate through an engaging, hands on group activity.

As we wrapped up, what resonated most was the importance of intentional exposure, especially for students in inner city Title I schools. By simply showing up, we are helping them see that a career in commercial real estate is not only possible, but attainable, and that there are professionals in the industry who reflect and represent them.

A special thank you to the Woodland Middle School counseling team for welcoming us and creating space for this experience, and to all of the educators who pour into our students each and every day. Your impact does not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for the work you do to uplift and inspire the next generation.
