BEACH RENOVATIONS
We're excited about the improvements coming to our beach and day-use area in 2025. While it means this area will be closed all year, it will be well worth the wait. This major renovation project includes the beach, new bathhouse, more parking (yay!), mini-golf, a splash pad and more. During renovations, the rest of the park will remain open, including trails, boating, camping, yurts and cottages. THANK YOU for supporting Fort Yargo State Park!

Whats coming??

The Barrow County Tax Commissioners Office in coordination with the Barrow County Tax Assessors Office will be releasing a some informational videos. Our goal is to address some of the most commonly asked questions and processes from our offices. We're planning to walk through the appeals process, discuss exemptions, etc. in a way that is informative and easy to understand. 🎥

What do we need from you??

We have a couple topics in mind, but we'd like to hear from you. Do you have a question about property taxes? Fees? Assessments? Exemptions? Billing? Appeals? Or something else that we can address? Chances are, if you're wondering then others are too! 🤔
