We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." – Marianne Williamson

Let's take a moment to deeply reflect on these powerful words. Marianne Williamson's quote invites us to examine our own self-perceptions and the fears that hold us back. Often, we are afraid of our own potential, our own greatness. We worry about standing out, about being too much for others, and this fear can lead us to diminish our light.

The question, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' is something many of us grapple with. But Marianne flips this question on its head, challenging us to consider, 'Who are you not to be?' Each of us is inherently valuable and capable. We are, as she says, children of God. By playing small, by hiding our talents and strengths, we are not only limiting ourselves but also the world around us.

When we shrink ourselves to make others comfortable, we are doing a disservice not just to ourselves, but to everyone we could potentially inspire and uplift. The world needs our light, our brilliance. We all have unique gifts and contributions to make. By embracing and showcasing these gifts, we encourage others to do the same.
