Full review:
I generally avoid completing surveys and writing reviews; however, I am pleased to make an exception in this instance. Having bought and sold two homes, my first experience was exceptionally poor. The realtor represented both the buyer and my spouse and me, and it became evident that his primary interest was his own financial gain rather than our best interests. As a result, we sold the property at a loss. From that experience, we resolved never again to engage an agent who represented both parties.
When selling our second home, we clearly stated that we would not permit dual representation. Unfortunately, the first agent we engaged disregarded this condition and attempted to persuade us to cover all closing costs while paying both his commission and that of the buyer’s representative. Despite our prior agreement, he insisted this was the only viable option. We later confirmed that he was, in fact, representing the buyer as well and expected to collect all fees. We promptly terminated our relationship with him.
Following discussions with another representative of the same firm, we were introduced to Suzanne Flowers. From the outset, Suzanne demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and a genuine commitment to representing our interests. She adjusted her fees to a fair and reasonable level and arranged for the sale to be handled remotely, sparing us unnecessary travel and expense. Throughout the process, she worked diligently—often during evenings and weekends—to secure showings and negotiate with prospective buyers.
While several potential buyers were ultimately unable to complete the purchase due to financing issues, Suzanne remained persistent and strategic. When the final buyers requested additional time to secure funding, she advised granting a brief extension. Her recommendation proved sound, and the transaction closed successfully.
Suzanne Flowers is a credit to her profession. Her honesty, dedication, and sound judgment earned our complete trust. Should we ever buy or sell another home, she will be the first person we contact.
