3 Years ago my real estate journey began.
The decision to walk away from my job with AirTran/Southwest after 14 years of working on the ramp with them was very difficult, but necessary. I had blown out my shoulder twice which resulted in surgery. I was at a point where my body didn’t give me a choice anymore. I had to make a change- but where do I start?
I knew I liked helping people.
I knew I was someone reliable and dependable.
I knew I had a lot of value to share with my community.
Then I felt one of those knowing whispers from God.
He reminded me of my own real estate journey I had gone through to purchase my 1st home. At that moment I knew the issues I had faced were preparing me to be the expert that people in the same situation would need.
I signed up to start Real Estate school in January of 2020.
I passed my class test on the 1st try. (Teacher said that is something a lot of people struggle with.)
Then I passed the Georgia State Test on the 1st try. (Again not something a lot of Realtors do.)
In the past 3 years I have helped many families buy, sell, and invest.
There have been many struggles I have faced. From being a new agent who no one wanted to work with, to working with investors that act like if they say jump- you say how high.
There have been many joyous moments as well. From seeing first time home buyers get the keys to their 1st home, to witnessing a couple walk through a door and break down crying because they found the perfect home- the best feeling was standing in the front yard with them, heads bowed, praying our gratitude to God that He had paved the way.
In the years to come, I’m looking forward to creating more memorable moments.
The next time you need a friend in real estate, remember me. I’m here- ready and willing to help.
Remember: Who You Work With Matters and I AM YOUR HELPING HAND IN YOUR REAL ESTATE JOURNEY.
