From parking lot to a brand-new milestone!

We are incredibly proud to highlight our land surveying work on this fantastic new construction project! Last Friday, KSU’s Marietta Southern Polytechnic campus celebrated the ribbon-cutting of their new student competition team space, the Hornet Hub building. “Hornet” honors Southern Poly’s mascot, Sting.

The competition teams collaborate on projects such as KSU Motorsports, Night Owl Racing, the Aerial Robotics Competition Team, and the Hydraulic Bike Team, among others. The ceremony included a facility tour and a drone show highlighting the innovative spirit this new space supports.

A huge thank you to the developers, contractors, and engineers who partnered with us on this build. It takes a village to shape our community, and we love being the ones who set the first lines!

GeoSurvey is pleased to announce an important leadership transition effective September 8, 2026.

After serving as Chief Executive Officer for the last five years, Bradley Cash will be stepping down from the CEO role to return to his core professional passion: hands-on project ex*****on and direct client collaboration. We are excited that Brad will continue to bring his extensive executive experience and industry expertise to our clients and team in his new role as Senior Project Manager.
Stepping into the role of Chief Executive Officer is Gene Etris, who currently serves as a Senior Project Manager at GeoSurvey. Because this transition draws on the strength and talent of our existing team, our day-to-day services, contracts, and operations will continue without interruption. This seamless evolution reflects the depth of leadership within GeoSurvey and our commitment to providing consistent, high-quality service to our clients and partners.
We are proud to celebrate this next chapter for GeoSurvey and look forward to continuing our strong partnerships with our employees, clients, and vendors.
Please join us in congratulating Gene on his new role and wishing Brad continued success as he returns to the project work and client relationships he is so passionate about.

🇺🇸 Honoring 2,977 Lives Lost on September 11, 2001

GeoSurvey is honored to assist the Marietta Kiwanis Foundation with the 9/11 Field of Flags at Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield National Park.

Every five years, this meaningful event pays tribute to the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, by reading each individual’s name and placing a flag in their honor.

As part of the preparation for this year’s commemoration, the GeoSurvey team staked 2,977 flag placement locations—one for each life remembered.

The Flag Parade & Installation will take place Saturday, August 29, at 10:00 a.m., with the Field of Flags on display from August 29 through September 19.

We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this important memorial and help honor the lives and legacies of those who were lost.

🇺🇸 Never Forget.

This year we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary — a milestone that reminds us how surveying and mapping helped build a new nation. For 29 years, our team has carried on that legacy, turning measurements into maps and maps into progress. We’re proud to honor founding leaders such as George Washington and other early surveyors whose work laid the groundwork for the country we serve today. Happy 250th, America — here’s to the next chapter.
