Looking back, 2016 was an enormous year for me. It was a massive year personally—I married my best friend and we took a life-changing trip across Europe—but professionally, I was at a crossroads. I was 4 years into running a personal training business, 5am-8pm days with no rest for my body. Between clients, I took real estate classes at UGA (go dawgs 🐶 ) and shadowed the city’s top agents.
One year later, I took the leap. I passed the exam and joined Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty. That first phase was a blur of obsession: open houses, YouTube videos, and sheer grit that quickly led to my first $1M sale. I eventually found myself working on new developments, literally helping to change the Atlanta skyline. 🏙️
But the obsession that built my career eventually led to severe burnout. I had to step down. I took a break and seriously considering leaving the industry altogether. But the pull of real estate… the people, the challenge, the impact real estate has on all our lives…was too strong. I realized I didn’t need to leave, I needed to evolve. I decided to return, but with a clear rule: only work with people and companies I genuinely connect with.
2026: I’m back at Atlanta Fine Homes. Now with the experience & knowledge to help everyone from 1st time buyers & downsizers, to developers looking to build their legacy. I’ve learned and grown a lot over the last 10 years.
Here’s to the next decade 🥂
