A major arena-centric mixed-use project is starting to move forward — with plans for a walkable, high-density, mixed use community.

Who's behind the scenes? The developer is Jamestown, famous for Atlanta’s popular Ponce City Market.

They’re now beginning the entitlement and rezoning process, which means this project is starting to take some shape.

If it moves forward as planned, this would be a big change to the current North Point Mall area.

Hi Friends! It's time for a quick reintroduction. Born and raised in Atlanta, my first connection with nature, which ultimately sparked my passion for protecting resources for future generations, started right here at the Chattahoochee River. Frequenting trails at Sope Creek, Island Ford, Palisades and other hidden gems across the city, I witnessed the dichotomy between the river's beauty and its health/water quality at the time. These early experiences drove my future endeavors.

With a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College in Environmental Studies, an MBA, and several years working on environmental projects in Alaska, I have leveraged these experiences at Sustainable Georgia. From healthier homes to smarter home features to greater energy efficiency, at Sustainable Georgia, we believe that making an impact on the community, our health, and the environment can happen one home at a time.
