Buying your first home is exciting.
It can also feel like everyone suddenly has an opinion about what you should do. Your parents. Your friends. Social media. That person at work who bought a house once and is now apparently a real estate expert. 😂
Before I take a first-time buyer to see homes, I like to spend some time getting clear on what *they* actually want.
Not what Instagram says they should want.
Not what someone else thinks they can afford.
And definitely not what looks good in listing photos.
Because once we start walking through homes, it's very easy to get distracted by the beautiful kitchen, the huge backyard, or the house that's just slightly outside the budget.
A little clarity before we start usually makes the entire process a lot easier—and a lot more enjoyable.
Thinking about buying your first home in Atlanta? You don't have to be ready to start looking tomorrow. Let's have a conversation and figure out what your first step should be.
