As we close out Black History Month and step into Women’s History Month, it’s the perfect time to recognize someone who represents the spirit of both.

Today we honor Bobbie Sanford.

Bobbie has been a pillar of leadership in our association and community for many years. She leads with patience, wisdom, style, and grace—always setting the standard for professionalism and service. Her commitment to supporting REALTORS®, mentoring others, and strengthening our organization has made a lasting impact.

Bobbie served as the 2002 President of DeKalb REALTORS®, helping guide the association with steady leadership and a deep commitment to the profession. Throughout her years of service, she has remained a trusted voice, a supportive mentor, and an example of what true leadership looks like.

Her presence reminds us that leadership is not just about titles—it’s about how you uplift others, how you carry yourself, and how you leave a path for those who follow.

As we kick off the 2026 Inaugural & Legislative Conference, we gather with one shared purpose: protecting property rights, strengthening our profession, and advocating for the communities we serve.

Wednesday, February 18 is REALTOR® Day at the Dome. That is when we show up, speak up, and stand up not as red or blue, but as purple. Policy over party. Profession over politics. People over partisanship.

We are there to champion smart housing policy, defend homeownership, and ensure REALTORS® have a voice where decisions are made.
