🦌 IT’S OFFICIAL — THE INAUGURAL WHITETAIL PROPERTIES OPENING DAY ROUNDUP IS HAPPENING! 🦌

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes putting this together, and I’m excited to finally share it with everyone!
This opening day, we’re bringing hunters, families, local businesses, and the outdoor community together at Sportsman’s Cove on Lake Wright Patman for a completely FREE, family-friendly event centered around hunting, conservation, education, and passing our outdoor traditions on to the next generation.

Bring your harvest, grab a photo, enter the deer contest, clean your own deer or learn from someone who can teach you. We’ll have local processors on site for demonstrations and drop-offs, plus hands-on opportunities to learn skills that every hunter should know.

One of the biggest reasons we wanted to put this event together is simple: some of the skills and traditions that generations before us grew up learning are slowly being lost.
We want experienced outdoorsmen and women teaching the next generation. We want kids asking questions, getting their hands dirty, and learning where their food comes from. We want new hunters to feel welcome. And we want opening day to be about more than just the size of the buck you bring home.
Whether you kill a deer that morning or never even climb into a stand, COME HANG OUT WITH US.
