We were so honored to help our dear friends, Sandi and Randy, with the sale of Randy's mom's home. Moving a loved one into a place where they need extra care and support is one of life's most emotional transitions. Today we are wrapping up a lifetime of memories at a very special lake house.

Our sellers are lifelong friends of Matt's, and being trusted to help guide them through this transition has been both humbling and an honor. This move came sooner than expected due to unforeseen health challenges, and it wasn't quite how they imagined this season of life would unfold.

Anyone who has ever left a home filled with years of memories knows that moving is about so much more than real estate. It's about letting go of a chapter, honoring the past, and finding the courage to step into what's next.

We watched firsthand how hard she worked to prepare for all of this. So many decisions, the sorting through memories, the emotional ups and downs~it all takes strength. More strength than most people realize.

This closing is definitely bittersweet. There is sadness in saying goodbye to a place that held so many special times, but there is also hope in knowing that they have a place that they can hopefully feel settled in.

We are so grateful for their trust, their friendship, and the opportunity to walk alongside them through one of life's bigger transitions.

It's key hand off day!

One of the greatest compliments in this business is when someone you trust refers the people they care about most. When those referrals come from our business partners, it's something we never take for granted.

House hunting with these two was a lot of fun. They came to the table with very different personalities and different ideas of what they wanted in a home. One carefully thought through every decision, while the other had a very clear vision of the must-haves. Somehow, it all came together perfectly, and they found the right place to start this next chapter together.

Today we have the privilege of handing the keys to the kids of our longtime friends. What a cool full-circle moment.
Over the years, we've helped our kids buy and sell homes. It is so fun to help the kids of our friends start this exciting chapter too. When people trust you enough to help the next generation of their family, it means a lot.
This home is a perfect fit~close to the lake, close to family, and in a location that checks so many boxes. These buyers have worked hard to get here, and we couldn't be happier for them.

Some of the best parts of this business have very little to do with real estate.

We first met one of the buyers years ago through a business networking group, long before COVID. When they realized their family needed a different place to call home, we set out on a search that took us from Browns Point to University Place and all the way to Gig Harbor. Their wish list wasn't simple~ they didn't want to feel like they were sardines, they wanted a great community and a main-floor space for Mom~but finding the right fit was worth the journey.

Along the way, we hired the cutest "showing agent" imaginable: their 4-year-old daughter. She kept us laughing through countless home tours, while the grown-ups navigated through all the questions and the what if's along the way.

Today, we get to hand over the keys to the perfect place for their next chapter. We're honored they trusted us to be part of this journey, and we can't wait to watch our little showing agent grow up in a home that fits their family so well.
