A new Chipotle is coming to Auburndale.

We found a building permit filed with the City of Auburndale for a buildout at 110 Recker Hwy, near US 92.

The permit was originally issued for a dark shell with the tenant listed as Chipotle Mex Grill.

A separate contractor bid for the interior buildout closed in August, and construction is now underway on site.

No opening date has been announced.
