I love some of the Tahitian Village homes built in the 80’s like 191 Mamalu Dr. The interior features are visually interesting and do a great job of bringing the outdoors in. There is a tangible quality in the materials and craftsmanship simply because what was available to builders at that time didn’t allow for shortcuts. We laughed. We learned. We sold a house! Anyone who knows me also knows that I don’t normally take these photos at closing. This was an exception because these clients are also my friends and we are super happy! I mean, REALLY happy (and significantly wiser)!! One of the greatest testaments to our solid working relationship is the fact that we were able to have very high-level communication throughout this process without missing a beat. At the end of it all having emotional resilience to laugh about our own humanity was icing on the cake for us three. I would work alongside these two any day.

This is currently my view. My back deck was built around this majestic pine tree. It’s one of many on my property. The pine needles can be found in some of the most unlikely places throughout my house. Outside, I regularly sweep, blow and rake them into piles around my yard. My mechanic even found a pine cone lodged in my engine compartment. Despite all of that, I never complain about them. These trees are far more beautiful than they are messy.
