Joe first came to Austin in 1966 to attend the University of Texas as a Business/Marketing major. Always the entrepreneur, in 1970 Joe opened the iconic Inner Sanctum Records which became "ground zero" for the Austin music scene in the 1970's and early 80's. After reaching the age of 35 the rock 'n roll world was not what he wanted in his later years, so in 1983 he sold Inner Sanctum and then bega
n a career as an independent photographer/videographer for Innertainment Productions, eventually moving those media talents to AISD and the Texas Senate to work in their media departments. Wanting to be back to being his own boss, in 1985, Joe obtained his real estate license. Immediately he began specializing in the sale of condos and townhomes, earning the nickname "Condo Joe". Since that time he has been the premier condominium and townhome real estate broker in Austin. Winner of the prestigious "REALTOR of the Year" award by the Austin Board of Realtors in 2011, and twice recognized as a "Best of Austin" by the Austin Chronicle.
