She and her husband relocated back to Texas in 2009, after a move to Colorado, where Cindy was a REALTOR/Broker in Grand Junction. She specialized in relocation, working with both buyers and sellers to help them with all of their relocation needs, whether relocating across town or across the country from purchasing a new home, selling their existing home, to helping with all of the issues and chal
lenges of relocating. Cindy was the co-founder & President of Career Centers of America, Inc. where she oversaw the recruiting and administrative staff who aided in the expansion/relocation of many of the best firms on the Western Slope and aided “trailing spouses” with their career relocation, as well as the many other issues related to relocation. She enjoys being a very active member of the community as an Ambassador or the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce and is a founding board member of the KW Wilco Relo division. She has volunteered countless hours to the many Boards of which she has been a Director, actively fundraising for many non-profits, including the Seton Circle (Seton Hospital Foundation), Community Hospital Foundation Board (Vice-Chair), American Cancer Society (Ten Most Wanted - top fundraiser and Relay for Life) and many other fundraising activities through Mesa County Junior Service League (Board Member for 3 years). She is also a member of NAR, WCBOR, TAR, ABOR, past member of CAR and GJARA. She served on the membership and social planning committee of Bookcliff Country Club (where she was an avid tennis player), founding member of the GJ Business/Education Foundation, and was a GJ Chamber Leadership Class graduate and mentor. Other associations in which Cindy was involved are Mesa County Women's Network, Fellowship Church, Celebrate Recovery Leader, and Family First Teen Parent Mentoring program. She has been invited to be the keynote speaker and presenter for numerous organizations and events. She grew up in Corpus Christi, TX, attended Del Mar College, the University of North Dakota and Valley City State College. She is a graduate of the Real Estate Training Center in Colorado (for whom she also taught real estate classes and coached real estate students) and Lamar University Real Estate School in Texas. Having experienced the relocation process herself, Cindy is acutely aware of the stresses, challenges and opportunities facing a family relocating to the Austin area. As a relocation specialist, Cindy has made it her mission to be the resident expert about neighborhoods, schools, extra-curricular activities and other amenities offered in Austin and the surrounding communities. She has a multitude of resources and personal relationships that she calls upon so that she can provide a relocating family with not only the information they need to make an informed decision as to where they want to live but also to assist a family in making a smooth and happy transition to a new community. Cindy is the recipient of the Premier Service Diamond Award, United Lending Rising Star award. For more information check out Cindy's website: http://www.cindycrawfordhomes.com/
