2026 Rise & Shine Balloon Rally

Some have called it the greatest hot air balloon show east of the Mississippi. We'll give you the info and let you be the judge of that.

The event takes place on the Vernon County Fairgrounds in Viroqua, WI. Event dates are Friday, June 26 through Sunday, June 28.

Vendors & Food Trucks
- Friday & Saturday, 3-10pm

Rides Available
- $300/person
- 6pm Friday & Saturday
- 6am Sunday
- Balloon Glow to follow Friday & Saturday
- Balloon Tether Rides (50-100ft off the ground): $20/person
- Friday: 4–10 PM
- Saturday: 6–10 AM & 4–10 PM
- Sunday: 6–10 AM
- Balloon rides are weather permitting

Viroqua Lions Club breakfast 6-8:30 on Saturday & Sunday.

The app Merlin...omgoodness, how did I survive without it?!?!? In ten minutes it recorded all these birds. 16 different types of birds and we witnessed an eagle fly overhead and Baltimore Oriole in the oak trees next to where we were sitting. It is a jungle out there❤️
