Gen Z just hit a home-buying milestone nobody saw coming. 🔑
For years, the story wrote itself: young people are locked out. Priced out. Doomed to rent forever. It made great headlines and even better comment-section arguments.

Meanwhile, quietly, buyers born after 1997 just claimed 20% of all home purchase rate locks — the largest share on record. One in five. And it's not one lucky city: every major region is seeing pending sales grow year-over-year, even at today's rates.
Here's what they figured out that the headlines didn't: nobody handed them perfect conditions, so they stopped waiting for them.
They're buying the smaller starter home instead of holding out for the dream one. Co-buying with siblings and best friends. Digging up down payment assistance programs most people never research. House hacking duplexes so the tenant next door helps cover the mortgage.

Different playbooks. Same result: equity instead of another year of rent receipts.

You don't have to choose between selling fast and selling for top dollar. But here's what you've got to do 👇

I had a seller last year who wanted both, and honestly? So does everyone. The sellers who get it aren't lucky — they just don't fight me on the boring stuff. They let me price it based on what's actually closing nearby, not what Zillow says or what the neighbor "heard." They fix the weird stuff before showings instead of after the third buyer mentions it. And they trust the first two weeks matter more than the next two months combined.

Do those three things and you're not choosing anymore. You're just... doing it right. 🏡
