Everyone keeps asking how the real estate market is doing. Nobody asks how the real estate agent is doing. So here’s an update. Phoebe’s almost eight months old, cutting teeth, and screaming about it, fair enough honestly. Sydney started middle school cheerleading, which I’ve learned is basically a soap opera with pom poms. Jenny’s back in jiu jitsu, Hunter’s doing gymnastics, Gunner’s playing football, and I’m just the unpaid Uber driver holding it together with dry shampoo and vibes. We’re also chasing the Mediterranean diet, emphasis on chasing, because most weeks it loses to an Oreo and pure survival instinct. My gym schedule is thriving some days and basically fictional on others. And in between all of that, I’m still out here chasing the market, talking to buyers, sellers, leads, closings. So yeah, the market’s a lot. But so is my life. And somehow I love both. Same time, same chaos, see you at the next showing.

After 4 years of dreadlocks, I finally brushed them out and went back to blonde — and honestly? Still getting used to seeing this version of me in the mirror. There’s a part of me that misses the locs; they were my comfort zone for so long. But that’s kind of the whole point, isn’t it?

Change is uncomfortable right up until it isn’t. Whether it’s a new haircut or a new home, stepping into something different takes a leap of faith — and trusting the process even when it feels unfamiliar at first.

Both looks were me. Just like both a starter home and a forever home can be right — it just depends on where you are in your story.
