Know that I’ve maybe got some attention with these post, I have a big announcement. As I have been planning to retire early in 2022, I am excited to announce that my step son, Matthew Shaw, will be taking over my business of 33 yrs. Matthew wants to continue the reputation that SMB has established for exceptional work with someone you can trust! SMB will be renamed Shaw Home Services Llc.(sHs). I will be assisting Matthew on a daily basis to mid summer and then on as he needs me basis which I don’t expect will be long. He is a fine,smart,hard working and easy going young man. I will continue for an indefinite period to call on potential customers and assist with estimating. So please if you have a need for remodeling or additions give me a call

A while back, I posted pics of the live edge walnut river table that David Layne and I partnered up on for Southminster’s new chancel table in our new sanctuary. Thanks to fellow member, Keith Berry for the design and build of the base. It all started with our pastor, Dan Oedy, asking if we would and showed us the baptismal bowl and cup. So we matched our blue epoxy to the darker areas in these. Now this is what I want to do when I retire
