Yesterday was my day of rest. Today I finished removing stump #3 from my landscape, loaded the debris and planted my sister’s red Canna bulbs around our flag pole. I miss the back and forth banter with her over my dad’s tractor. Getting the bulbs planted that she gave me before her death makes me think of better times.
