Fall hunting season is underway in Maine. If you’re heading into the woods, make yourself easy to see by wearing blaze orange or another highly visible color. 🟠
Stay on marked trails, keep dogs leashed and consider adding an orange vest or bandana to your four-legged hiking companion. Our woods are shared by hikers, bikers, hunters and wildlife. A little extra visibility helps everyone enjoy them safely.

Maybe the best part of a getaway isn't everything you do.

Maybe it's how you feel when you finally stop.

You don’t need a big reason to plan a fall weekend away. 🍂

Sometimes the reason is simply…

“We haven’t gotten away in a while.”

A couple of slow mornings. A hike with crisp fall air. Dinner in Bethel. A long soak in the hot tub. A fire under the stars with nowhere you need to be tomorrow.

August filled up quickly, and now we’re looking ahead to September + October.
