Advantages of Buying a Lehigh Valley Home in the Winter

If I was put on the spot and asked the main advantage to buying a Lehigh Valley Home in the Winter it would be negotiation power.

During the winter months, the inventory of homes for sale in the Lehigh Valley gets low. Sellers that don't have to sell or didn't get "their" price may pull the home off the market to wait for the spring market with a new influx of home buyers.

It is possible that a Lehigh Valley Home Seller, that wasn't willing to negotiate 4 months ago, may be more willing as the cold/snowy winter months approach. Giving the Home Buyer some sellers assist may not be such a bad idea after-all!

The negative for a Home Buyer is that the inventory of available homes for sale is limited. The selection of homes goes down.

Having said that, a home buyer that waits for the spring inventory may be faced with multiple offers and/or the seller saying NO to parts of their offer (sellers assist, home to sell...etc)

If the right Lehigh Valley Home is available, NOW May Be the time to Buy.
