Our office will be closed the week of the 4th and reopening on Monday, July 10th. It will be our last chance for a small vacation before our office manager adds a little assistant to the assistant manager for the Bloom Environmental family. Sump Pump & Perimeter drainage as preventative for flooding areas!

1. Excavation of 4” trench around perimeter of crawl
2. Installation of perforated drainpipe into trench, sloping towards sump pit
3. Backfill trench with stone!
4. Installation of weep holes in block walls
5. Excavation and installation of a sump pit at low point
6. Installation of electrical outlet
7. Installation of ⅓ horsepower (or larger) sump pump with a check valve.
8. Pump directed out of crawl and away from house.

Call if there is a plumbing issue or other ‘act of nature’ that has disturbed a part of the home where pre-1989 building materials have been .

One example: During maintenance, we had to tear out an old boiler, where we found a heat-resistant asbestos cement board installed behind it.
