Here's a little peek at what the month of June looked like for the Orzolek Fam!
1. The last two months held the kind of scary you don't say out loud. Walking into yet another scope that would finally give us the BIG answer, I held my family close and my faith closer. Praise be to God, the news was good and medications were working. I'm stepping into a new long-term diagnosis with medication and constant scopes ahead but praise be to Jesus that it wasn't the "c" word at this stage!
Showing up at full speed while running on empty has tested me in ways I didn't expect this month... To my clients, who still got my 110 percent of me on my hardest days, thank you for your grace during this hard season when my energy was just not there. This past week the medicine finally kicked in, and I'm starting to feel like me again. So thankful always that God has been in every single step of this.
2. We slipped away on an impromptu family trip to Ocean City. It was the perfect chance to unplug and just be together while we waited on results. We soaked up some much needed downtime with the kids, braved the slightly chilly beach weather, caught the Thunderbirds practicing for the air show for the first time, and visited friends over a meal at our favorite spot, Harpoon Hanna's.
3. June closed out the school year, and Beaver-Main throws the best send-off there is. The local fire department rolls in the ladder truck and soaks every kid in sight while they run wild and slide through the mud. Eli and his buddies were caked head to toe in mud - it's exactly how summer should start!
4. I went to my very first rodeo and got to cheer on Caiden's girlfriend, Allie, riding in her first barrel race. Safe to say this country girl felt right at home. Patiently waiting the day when I can finally purchase a horse of my own... although I do not think barrel racing is in my future ... HA!
5. Eli's travel soccer team wrapped their season, and he is already counting down to the next one. That kid simply does not know how to sit still.
6. My very first garden strawberries came in this month. The berries are my favorite part of our little garden! They start showing up in June... telling us all that summer finally arrived!
7. We celebrated Father's Day weekend our favorite way, with dinner at the cabin and a stop at a family go-to, Texas Roadhouse. Cheers to the steady guys who hold our family together.
8. Our sweet Stella girl had a birthday, and Eli spoiled her with a doggie cookie from the Bloomsburg Farmers Market. Yes, the dogs gets celebrated around here, too!
9. My 'Mary Garden' is in full bloom, the one my mother in law helped me plant last year. Look closely and you can spot the rosary draped around her.
10. The Williams family is growing! We celebrated sweet Emma and the happy news that she and Evan are expecting a baby BOY. Another one for the crew, ha. At this rate we are going to run clean out of boy names.
On the business side, summer is in full swing across Bloomsburg and NEPA. I have some exciting listings and opportunities in the works, and if you own land, a farmette, an estate, or a one of a kind property you have been dreaming about selling, I would love to be your guide!

This verse hit different after Father's homily last weekend about fear, and how the answer to it is not pretending we are never afraid, it is knowing God is standing right there with us in the middle of it. That was June in a nutshell. The hard things and the good things shared the very same month and faith is what folded it all together. I am walking out of this month with a heart full of trust, a body on the mend, and more gratitude than I can hold. All praise be to God, always.
