8 Key Rules to Improve Your Credit Score in the U.S

1. Always pay your debts on time so you properly manage the most critical factor, which makes up about 35% of your score.
(Payment history carries the highest weight.)
2. Keep your credit card balances low and maintain your utilization below 30%, so you manage the debt-to-limit ratio, which impacts about 30% of your score.
(Below 10% typically presents the strongest profile.)
3. Make payments before your due date, even partially, to reduce your reported balance and gain an advantage in this same 30% category.
4. Use your credit card regularly with small amounts so the system recognizes you as an active and consistent user.
(This behavior positively affects both your payment history (35%) and utilization (30%).)
5. Do not close your old credit accounts, so you preserve your credit history length, which makes up about 15% of your score.
6. Avoid making too many applications in a short period of time, so you don’t appear risky in the new credit/inquiry category, which accounts for about 10%.
7. Increase your total credit limit over time so the same spending appears lower risk and gives you an advantage in the 30% utilization category.
8. Prevent late payments and negative records so you protect the highest-weighted factor (35%), your payment history.

Florida’ya yeni taşınmayı planlıyorsanız ya da kısa süre önce taşındıysanız, yapılacaklar listesi ilk başta oldukça uzun görünebilir.

ve tabii ki ehliyet süreci.

Green Card Lottery (DV Programı) ile ilgili son günlerde birçok farklı bilgi dolaşıyor.
Peki resmi kaynaklara göre gerçekten neler değişiyor?

🇺🇸 ABD Dışişleri Bakanlığı, 11 Mart 2026 tarihinde Federal Register’da DV programına ilişkin yeni bir düzenleme yayımladı.

Bu düzenlemede özellikle şu konu öne çıkıyor:

• DV başvurularında pasaport doğrulaması yeniden getiriliyor.
Başvuru sırasında geçerli pasaport bilgilerinin girilmesi ve pasaportun biyografik sayfasının sisteme yüklenmesi gerekecek.

Bu değişikliğin amacı ise son yıllarda artan sahte veya çoklu başvuruları azaltarak programın güvenilirliğini artırmak.

📌 Bu düzenlemenin 10 Nisan 2026 tarihinde yürürlüğe girmesi planlanıyor.

Ancak önemli bir nokta:

DV-2027 başvuru tarihi henüz açıklanmış değil.
Başvuru dönemi açıldığında yeni kuralların nasıl uygulanacağı da netleşecek.
