August was intense. Intense on galactic scale, in fact. I closed four (4) deals at the end of the month, each with their own individual complexities. Juggling multiple escrows can be somewhat maddening , but I love this business and wouldn’t have it any other way. My motto: work hard, play hard…and take an occasional break. Flashback to the 2020 Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic, which kicked off today. These were all shot on film with my Canon A-1 35mm camera. I love this particular camera because of the double exposure feature. The results are a mystery until you develop the film. Some of these are underexposed, but I was aiming for a high contrast aesthetic, especially in the frames where the ballon eclipses the sun.
