A low appraisal can feel like a big “uh-oh” moment… but it does not always mean the deal is dead. 🏡

Sometimes the number comes in lower than the agreed purchase price, and everyone has to pause, take a breath, and figure out the next best step.

The good news? There are options.

The buyer and seller may be able to renegotiate. The appraisal can be reviewed for mistakes or missing upgrades. In some cases, the gap can be covered or worked through with the lender. And sometimes, it simply opens the door for a smarter conversation.
