Real Estate terms can be confusing if you don't have a good understanding of them. Here are a few acronyms you will likely encounter when purchasing a new home:

🏠HOA - A homeowner's association (HOA) is an organization in a subdivision, planned community, or condominium building that makes and enforces rules for the properties and residents.

🚪RTO - A Rent-To-Own (RTO) is an arrangement where one makes periodic rental payments towards the eventual goal of purchasing an asset.

💰ROI- Return On Investment (ROI) is an assessment of an investment's cash flow (how much did you put in, and how much are you getting back in return?). Calculating the ROI is vital to determining how well the investment is performing overall.

💸LTV - The Loan-To-Value (LTV) ratio is an assessment of lending risk that financial institutions and other lenders examine before approving a mortgage.
