Please, please take a moment today to ensure your pets are safe, especially those who spend time outdoors. Remember these life-saving rules:

💧 Ensure constant access to fresh, cool water.

🌳 Provide ample shade at all times of the day.

🏡 Bring outdoor pets inside during the hottest hours of the afternoon.

🚗 Never, EVER leave a pet in a parked car. Not even for a minute, not even with the windows cracked. A car turns into an oven in seconds.

This family means the world to me. This is the best place to take your pets when you are away on vacation and I can personally vouch that they are treated like they are Shawna’s own. Molly is the sweetest girl ever and she is so special to me. Even if you don’t live anywhere near Eastern Kentucky this is still a good opportunity to get the word out about IMHA because before yesterday I didn’t know anything about it at all. My girl Molly has been diagnosed with IMHA (Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia). It is a life-threatening condition where her immune system is misidentifying her own red blood cells as foreign invaders, and actively destroying them. She is going to need multiple blood transfusions, so I decided to do a fundraiser to help us cover expenses. We’ve already paid extensive fees for overnight stays and emergency fees, and she still has a long road ahead of her.
