This was a really great idea of a hidden closet door. The carpenter built the door and worked meticulously to make it blend in with the pecky cypress.

Here are some updated pictures of our home on 4704 Riverwood Avenue. The elevation is a northern inspired plan with a high pitched roof line and a dramatic view of the staircase from outside of the home. The Owner’s Suite will have a wooden ceiling where it vaults to a peak with a center beam in the middle.

Most of the Sarasota homes built in the 60’s and 70’s had floor plans with “formal” rooms (living, family and dining). Families today prefer a more open concept. This homeowner wanted the wall between the kitchen and living room removed to give the plan and finishes a more modern look.
