Have you ever loved a house so much that you were willing to wait months for a second chance?

Some real estate stories are too good not to share.

When we listed The Bluff House at Slane Chapel, we received tremendous interest and multiple offers. We ultimately accepted an offer and the property successfully closed.

But just before closing, another couple reached out.

They told us they had fallen in love with the property and wanted to make an offer. Unfortunately, the timing simply wasn’t on their side. The home was already too far into the closing process.

Most buyers would have moved on.

Not these buyers.

They couldn’t stop thinking about this incredible property.

So after the sale closed, we stayed connected, continued the conversation, and eventually presented an off-market offer to the new owner.

And today…

Today we officially closed on one of the most iconic and historic homes on Table Rock Lake.

We are incredibly grateful to our sellers for trusting us with the opportunity to represent such a meaningful property, and to Shannon White and Dana Crowell Gunter - NMLS # 564440 - Central Bank for helping bring this transaction together. It was an honor to work alongside everyone involved, including the buyer, whose vision will carry this remarkable home into its next chapter.

Known by many as The Bluff House at Slane Chapel, this extraordinary property overlooking Table Rock Lake was originally designed by architect Don Russell and built using reclaimed railroad bridge timber. From the iconic cantilevered pod suspended over the bluff to the handcrafted architectural details throughout, this home has long been part of the story and character of the Ozarks.
