Behind the Desk: Continuing the Legacy

This week, we’re taking you out from behind the desk to introduce Jason Hueske, who has been part of the Botts Title family for 4 years!

As our Building & Property Manager, Jason keeps things moving behind the scenes across all 10 of our offices. From delivering important documents and supplies to making repairs, updating our offices, and tackling whatever needs to be done, Jason spends his days on the road and rarely in the same place twice!

When asked what he loves most about his job, Jason kept it simple:

“I’m not stuck in a cubicle.” 😆

And honestly… that’s pretty accurate!

Jason enjoys the variety that comes with his role. Every day brings a different office, a different project, and a different reason to jump in and help. He gets to work with our teams across all of our locations while making sure our offices stay safe, functional, and ready to serve our customers.

We’re grateful for the behind-the-scenes work Jason does to keep Botts Title running smoothly. Sometimes the people making the biggest difference aren’t sitting behind a desk—they’re the ones keeping everything around the desk running! 💙

Behind the Desk: Continuing the Legacy

This week, we’re featuring Allison Bentke - Abstractor in our Brenham office, who has been part of the Botts Title family for 5 years!

When asked what she loves most about her job, Allison shared:

“I really enjoy researching files that have been in families for generations. The old deeds are so interesting, and I really enjoy looking at the maps, too.”

That attention to detail is also a big part of what Allison believes sets Botts Title apart. We want to get it right. Our goal isn’t simply to get a file across the closing table—we want to make sure the work we do today helps protect our clients from problems down the road.

For Allison, the history found in an old deed or the details uncovered on a map aren’t just pieces of paper. They’re part of someone’s story, and taking the time to research them thoroughly is one of the ways we help ensure that story continues without unnecessary surprises.

🏈✨ What a night at the Washington County Chamber Tailgate! ✨🏈

We had a BLAST cheering on our community, enjoying some great food and fellowship, and showing off our team spirit! 🙌

And we’re pretty excited to say our table took home 🥈 2ND PLACE in the Spirit Award! 🎉🏆

We also had a little fun contributing to the silent auction with our “Slot Machine” Lotto Ticket setup! 🎰🍀 We loved getting creative and helping support another great Chamber event.
