Job description
Are you looking to be a part of an up-and-coming Property Management Company? Aventis Management Inc is hiring a Part-Time Maintenance Tech to join our growing team. AMI has multiple buildings throughout the East Bay Area, and we are looking for a skilled Maintenance person who can assist us in adding value to our clients' investments. This position is a great opportunity for someone with prior experience in property or building maintenance. If you are skilled in general maintenance or handyman skills this is a terrific opportunity for you to join our team.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial services as assigned
Perform refurbishing, painting and renovation of apartments per company standards
Diagnose problems and repairs in the areas related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, dry wall and appliances.
Ensure that policies and procedures as well as safety and compliance expectations are met.
Work closely with Property Manager to prioritize work through maintenance system. (AppFolio)
Complete all service requests in accordance with company standards
Ordering of supplies as needed
Maintain accurate record of all tasks completed
Available for on-call duties, and after-hours emergency service requests as needed. Maintain a flexible schedule. (Typical work hrs. are 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday)
Communicate and effectively work together with your fellow team members.

Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
3+ years' experience in the property maintenance field
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
Ability to travel
General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and/or carpentry
References required
Basic familiarity with computers and tablets
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced skill in at least 2 trades (electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and carpentry, etc.)
Bilingual
