I’ve never met an agent who accidentally built an extraordinary life.

The ones who get there build it on purpose.

I speak with agents every day who are creating businesses they once only dreamed about.

Opening doors for their families.

Reaching goals that, at one point, felt impossible.

We all carry different dreams.

Different definitions of success.

Different legacies we hope to leave behind.

What I’ve learned is this.

The agents who achieve those dreams at the highest level share one thing.

They don’t leave their future to chance.

They have a clear vision of where they’re going.

They stay committed when progress feels slow.

They keep learning when others get comfortable.

They keep showing up long after the excitement wears off.

Because a legacy isn’t built by what you do once.

It’s built by what you do consistently.

Decision after decision.

Year after year.

The future you want isn’t something you wait for.

It’s something you build.

Know your value.

Own your vision.

Build your legacy.

Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final reminded me why I love sports and business.

Sports always gives us a front-row seat to lessons we spend our entire lives learning.

And Game 3 was no different.

Vegas led 4-0.

The game felt over.

It wasn’t.

Carolina scored three goals in 39 seconds.

Then tied it with the net empty in the final minutes.

Just like that, a game that looked decided became completely uncertain.

That’s what makes sports unforgettable.

And it’s what makes business so fascinating.

No lead is permanent.

No success guarantees the next one.

Momentum can disappear faster than anyone expects.

The teams and companies that thrive aren’t the ones that avoid adversity.

They’re the ones that stay disciplined when adversity arrives.

Vegas couldn’t control the comeback.

They couldn’t control the pressure.

They couldn’t control the bounce that eventually decided the game.

The only thing they could control was whether they kept playing their game after everything changed.

They did.

And two overtimes later, they won it.

That’s the part that translates far beyond hockey.

In business, markets shift.

Strategies stop working.

Competitors emerge.

Unexpected challenges show up.

The question is never whether things will change.

The question is how you respond when they do.

Game 3 was a reminder that talent may build the lead, but discipline is what keeps you in the fight when the lead disappears.

That’s why I love sports.

That’s why I love business.

Both have a way of reminding us that adversity is inevitable.

Momentum shifts.

Pressure rises.

Plans fall apart.

The advantage disappears.

And in those moments, what matters most isn’t talent.

It’s resilience.

It’s discipline.

It’s composure.

It’s the ability to keep executing when the outcome is no longer certain.

Because the greatest victories rarely happen when everything goes according to plan.

They happen when your back is against the wall and you find a way to keep going anyway.

What a game.

Go Knights. ⚔️🖤💛

HAPPY SABBATH 🤍

James says the tongue is small, yet powerful enough to steer a ship.

Powerful enough to start a fire.

Solomon wrote:

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” (Proverbs 18:21)

I’ve been thinking about that.

A few words spoken in anger can be remembered for years.

A few words spoken in love can be remembered even longer.

Words rarely stay words.

They become beliefs.

Attitudes.

Actions.

And eventually, the atmosphere around us.

Maybe that’s why David spent so much time reminding himself of God’s faithfulness in Psalms.

Not because God needed reminding.

Because David did.

The words we repeat have a way of shaping what we see.

Our circumstances may not change.

Other people may not change.

But the story we tell ourselves about those circumstances often shapes how we experience them.

The conversation we have with ourselves may be one of the most important conversations we have all week.

Because the words we dwell on today become the lens through which we see tomorrow.

As I reflect on the Sabbath, I’m reminded how easy it is to overlook the power of ordinary words.

The ones we speak.

The ones we hear.

And the ones we quietly repeat to ourselves.

Are they producing more fear or more faith?

More anxiety or more peace?

More criticism or more grace?

May our hearts be so full of God’s truth and faithfulness that hope naturally finds its way into our words.

Happy Sabbath!

~ Love Carrie ❤️

Heading into Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final in Raleigh tonight… 🏒

Fun fact: Jim McKenzie won the Stanley Cup as a player with the New Jersey Devils in 2003.

Twenty years later, he won it again with the Vegas Golden Knights in 2023, this time in the front office.

…and with me. 😉

Go Knights! 🖤💛⚔️

Heading into Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals in Raleigh tonight… 🏒

Fun fact: Jim was originally drafted by the Hartford Whalers, the same franchise that later became the Carolina Hurricanes… and now years later, back in Raleigh with the Vegas Golden Knights for the Stanley Cup Finals.

Talent gets attention.
Discomfort builds greatness.

The people who go the furthest usually aren’t the most gifted.

They’re the ones willing to be unpolished in public long enough to become exceptional.

What would you start today if you didn’t need to be excellent on day one?

There’s a chapter in the Bible most people skim right past… 🕊️

A census.
A list of names.
The part your eyes slide right over.

But hidden inside one of the most overlooked portions of Scripture is something deeply personal…

God COUNTED His people. 🙏

Not like statistics.
Not like followers.
Not like a crowd.

Family by family…
name by name…
tribe by tribe.

Slowly.
Intentionally.

The way you count the people you refuse to lose track of.

And maybe that matters more right now than we realize…

Because the world counts people differently.

By followers.
By status.
By productivity.
By who stayed.
By who left.

By Friday, life can make you feel like a number on a spreadsheet.

And maybe you’ve watched people walk out of the count of your life…
A friend who was there for a season… and then wasn’t.

But here is the truth:

PEOPLE MAY COME AND GO FROM THE COUNT OF YOUR LIFE…
BUT GOD DOES NOT LOSE TRACK OF HIS OWN. 🕊️

And right in the middle of this Torah portion, Naso, comes one of the most beautiful blessings in all of Scripture:

“The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.”
— Numbers 6:24–26

What a powerful connection…

The God who counts His people…
is the same God who keeps them.

So this Sabbath, REST in God’s truth! 🙏

The world counts you by what you produce.
God never has and never will!

You are already seen.
Already kept.
Already loved. 🤍

Happy Sabbath! ~

Love, Carrie ❤️

I could not be prouder watching and the organization continue this incredible journey.

From an expansion team… to a Stanley Cup Final in year one… to Stanley Cup Champions… and now back to the Finals for the third time in franchise history… what this organization has built over the last nine years is remarkable.

To witness it all up close over the last nine years has been exceptional. The highs, the playoff runs, the grind, the emotion, the people, the city… all of it.

Very grateful to experience this moment in Vegas with my family, and especially proud of my husband …. and that we have been able to be part of this organization’s story from the very beginning.

GO KNIGHTS! ⚔️💛🖤
